Why it matters on the water
Instead of hunting through the chart, My Data is the index of your SeaVectors — every recorded passage, saved spot, planned route, and cached chart area, with the numbers that describe them.
What's inside
| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Tracks | Recorded passages with distance, duration, point count, color, and an overview thumbnail. Replay on the chart. (Module 12) |
| Markers | Saved spots with labels, notes, and media. Open to view or navigate. (Module 13) |
| Routes | Planned multi‑leg routes — open, edit, reverse, simulate, or delete. (Module 11) |
| Offline Maps | Your cached chart coverage. (Module 15) |
| Telemetry Recordings | Recorded instrument/telemetry data. |
How to use it
- Open My Data.
- Pick a section — Tracks, Markers, Routes, Offline Maps, or Telemetry Recordings.
- Tap an item to open its detail (a track's stats and replay, a marker's notes/media, a route to edit/simulate).
- Manage — delete items you no longer need (swipe/Delete), keeping your data tidy.
Tips
- Make My Data your weekly cleanup stop — delete test routes and stray markers so the useful ones stand out.
- Sign in (module 01) so everything here syncs and is backed up to your account.
- Use the overview thumbnails to recognize tracks at a glance instead of reading names.
Troubleshooting
- A section is empty → You haven't created anything there yet (or, if signed in on a new device, sync hasn't completed — give it a moment on a connection).
- Deleted something by mistake → Deletions are permanent locally; if signed in, check whether it still exists on another synced device before assuming it's gone.
